Despite having never met each other in person, we struck up an acquaintance online a while ago and found we had a lot of common interests. When the name Josephine Baker popped up in one of our little confabs regarding a collaboration we were considering, we were both thrilled to bits and immediately pledged love eternal to the fabulous Black Venus. Thus came the inspiration for the following project. So we gave it a try (1, 2, 3) and liked that a lot."
